Social networks are becoming addictive to many teenagers across the world. Social networks can be helpful to keep in contact with friend but it can be addictive. I believe social network has had an impact on the increase number of sexual predator. Do you believe social networks are affecting society?

ReplyDeleteThey most definitely are affecting society because social networks link people all over the world. The downside to it though is not everyone is who they say they are. For example, there are sexual preditors out there who try to attract young girls or boys claiming to be their age.
ReplyDeleteSocial networks are really affecting our society in positive and negative ways. I think if we are safe and don’t feed into the predators then there will be no problem.
ReplyDeleteI do believe social networks are affecting society. Many people mostly teens feel the need to put all of their informantion on the internet. It is so easy to search for someone because the tell the world what they are doing every second of the day. For example, there are people who tell where they are located, what time they will be home, and why they are away. When you place this on your preferred social network anyone who is supposly your friend and easy break into your house.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I agree with you Nakiel. I belive it is okay as long as you are monitoring who you accept to be your friend and keep your profile information hidden from "non-friends".
ReplyDeleteAnd I agree with you too Logan because everyone is not who they say they are and you may feel as though you are chating with your friend when in reality it is someone who you do not know personally.
ReplyDeleteI believe social networks are affecting society due to the increase of the users and the large amounts of time they spend on there. Also over the years social networks have bacame a useful way to meet people which is a very serious situation because people lie about their age and increase the number of sexual predators. I think networks are sexual predators dreams.

ReplyDeleteI think social networks are affecting society because many people put a lot of their personal infomation on social networks which do cause an increase on sexual predators because someone is always watching you.
